It is not correct, however, that you are not allowed to get this implants loaded by crowns and bridges during this period. On the contrary high-quality temporary crown, that is very similar to the final crowns and bridges in appearance and function, is now produced in a short time (e.g. with CEREC ceramic) and immediately after the setting of the implants inserted into your mouth.

These new teeth protect the implants by the fact that they distribute all the biting force among freshly placed implants and clog it as a functional unit. After the healing of the final crowns, bridges are made from specially trained dental laboratory in Lübeck and fixed by a dentist on the implants.

Ideally the new teeth now almost should not be distinguishable from beautiful natural teeth, and then to enable a beautiful smile if that wasn't possible before with one's 3D Computer - Navigation and implantology:

Even in modern dentistry, digital technology plays an increasing role. So implant surgery today often has  the possibility of so-called 3D-planning and treatment. This simplifies the typesetting of the implants, the predictability of treatment outcome and the reduction of treatment stress for the patient.

Often there is not enough jawbone available for implantation. Then the surgeon can decide to use the 3D diagnostics whether new bone production must be carried out or  such steps can be avoided.

Computer made templates allow the precise planning of the implant  surgery without the jaw and gum having to be cut. Afterpains can  be greatly reduced. The patients are usually able to work again the next day or the day after tomorrow and  can also take part in the social life again.

Laser and Ultrasonic are part of the technical innovations in Germany that  enrich the modern implantology and enable gentle, and thus more predictable treatment results. Success and failure:

Patient and dentist are equally afraid of treatment failures. Two important issues that jeopardize the success of immediate care:

Infections: pathogens can prevent healing and the implants don't become fixed. Smokers always have a higher risk.

 

1. Solution: No chance for germs. Laser, ozone therapy and optimal oral hygiene will help the surgical area during the healing phase and afterwards help to keep it free of inflammation.

2. Overloading of the implants in the healing period. The cause may be a poor makeshift that has loosened during the critical period and has not been re-inserted immediately.

3. The overall holistic health picture is always taken into account.

 

People with various chronic illnesses and high exposure to drugs must reckon with an increased risk of failure.
